EDI removes bottlenecks in Hesora order handling

For those passionate about home decoration in Lithuania, Hesora and Dekorika are household names. These industry leaders specialize in the wholesale of cornices, roller blinds, diverse aluminum profile systems, and curtain accessories. Over the past 25 years, they’ve successfully established a strong foothold in the Baltics, boasting over 300 clients and 400 delivery points, and processing approximately 1,000 orders each month.

Back in 2015, Dekorika UAB took a strategic step by partnering with Telema. Not long after, its parent company, Hesora UAB, followed suit. CFO Vytautas Paurys recalls the catalyst for this collaboration, “As our business horizon broadened, we identified challenges in our order handling process. Some deliveries lagged solely due to the constraints of manual order entry. Our introduction to Telema EDI solutions came from our tech-savvy Estonian customers. Its success made us extend its utility to our partners in Lithuania and Latvia.”

Today, Telema EDI integrates seamlessly with prominent retailers such as Makveža, Bauhof, Kurši, Decora, Kesko Senukai, and Bikuvos prekyba. “Each month, we receive around 400 orders electronically, which feed directly into our Rivilė ERP system. The elimination of tedious order entries frees our staff to focus on tasks that genuinely add value. This automation has streamlined our operations, saving us between 120-150 hours every month,” adds Paurys.

Reflecting on the transformation, Paurys states, “Reverting to our previous manual system is unimaginable. Telema has not just made our workflow efficient but has significantly improved our day-to-day operations. I wholeheartedly endorse EDI as a revolutionary technology and champion Telema as a reliable ally.”
