Telema creates a product information management solution tailored to the needs of Baltic suppliers and manufacturers
Telema, the leading Baltic e-document and electronic data operator with more than 20 years of technology development experience, has created a new product information management solution. Telema PDS (Product Data Sync) platform allows suppliers – manufacturers and wholesalers – to efficiently and securely manage information about their assortment in a single database. Via it’s interface they can accurately and without unnecessary steps submit their product data to retailers in exactly the format retailers request.
As Priit Pommer, Product Manager, Telema PDS, says:
“Our experience shows that product data can move through the supply chain much more efficiently than at present. In the first three months of use, companies that have implemented the new solution have accelerated the speed of information exchange with their partners by 42%.
So retail stores get accurate and verified product data twice as fast. It also allows new products to be launched more smoothly and sales channels to be expanded. ”
The Telema PDS platform acts as a link between the supplier and the retailer, gathering all the product information needed for sales in one place. So, once you create a product card, you can customize it for each retailer’s data submission table and share it with them in a few clicks.
For companies involved in sales processes and managing tens, hundreds or thousands of articles/ nomenclatures on a daily basis, product data management is a long-term solution that saves them from difficult and resource intense ERP software customisation efforts.
“The ability not only to find, but also to implement smart solutions is what can give our entrepreneurs a handicap in the e-commerce race – not only in the Baltics, but also in wider markets. We are pleased that our latest product, Telema PDS, is being launched at the right time to help traders go digital.”says Hele Hammer, CEO of Telema.
The development of Telema PDS is supported by the European Regional Development Fund through the Interreg program.
