Telema Customers Now on Peppol

We are pleased to announce that starting July 1, 2025, all customers who receive their e-invoices through Telema will also be able to receive e-invoices via the Peppol network. This important milestone brings new efficiency to invoice handling and expands the reach of your digital procurement capabilities – both in Estonia and beyond.
Why This Change Matters
The Peppol network connects over 1.5 million companies worldwide, enabling easier international trade. Until now, receiving invoices via Peppol was only possible for companies that had specifically arranged such connections. This has changed thanks to a coordinated agreement between Estonian e-invoice operators, who have committed to adapting their systems. The result: every business customer of these operators will now automatically have an e-invoicing “mailbox” in the Peppol network.
This means that customers who receive e-invoices through Telema, are already ready to receive e-invoices from any partner operating in the Peppol ecosystem.
What You Need to Do
Although your Peppol inbox is already set up, there is one essential step you need to take:
➤ Notify your suppliers of your Peppol ID.
Your Peppol ID is the identifier for your company’s invoice inbox in the Peppol network. Suppliers who use Peppol can now send you e-invoices through the network, as soon as they know your Peppol ID.

What Is Peppol and Why Is It Important?
Peppol (Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line) is an international network that enables the secure and standardized exchange of e-invoices and other business documents across countries and IT systems.
Originally developed for public sector procurement, Peppol is now widely used by private companies as well and is supported by many European governments.
It allows businesses to easily transact with suppliers and customers – locally and internationally – without the need for PDFs, manual entry, or custom integrations.
