Kreisel Vilnius – towards top quality with EDI

2019 marks an important milestone for Kreisel Vilnius, Lithuanian representative of German producer of dry construction mix. Transition to EDI has been an important factor to support the company’s top quality standards. 

Kreisel offers a wide range of modern building materials for renovation, expansion and decoration. In 2019, Kreisel Vilnius started to use Telema EDI services in supply chain automation. 

Marketing manager Marius Šimkus shares his thoughts: “High quality of products and services are important factors in construction field and it is our company’s trump card. When retail chains started to order more and more Kreisel products, Kreisel chose Telema EDI solution to automate the sales order handling process. Orders are now arriving in electronic format from 69 shops straight to Kreisel’s ERP system Euro Skaita and there is no more manual work. In just half a year, the volume of e-documents has doubled and the company enjoys the real benefits of the solution. 

Marius Šimkus continues his insights: “The whole supply process is now operating at a higher level. If there are any mismatches in items or prices, the system now highlights the difference. EDI has decreased operational expenses not only in Kreisel but on our customers’ side too.
